chriswilcock This album is haunting and atmospheric. It's an enjoy and chill album not an in your face going to tear shit up one. For me there is not one song that is weak, I even love the cover at the end. Burton and Jayce have made an epic piece of music. My wife has serious health issues and Honoree is a stand out track for us. It says everything about what we have been going through these last 3 years. I discovered this album at the weekend and haven't stopped listening to it since 10/10 Favorite track: Honoree.

z4kk I´m a great FF-Fan, but even if you take the weaker Fear Factory songs as baseline, this is album is very, very bad. tedious songwriting, boring and ordinary production and sub-par, nearly annoyed singing from Burton. I really wonder about how can anyone listen to this and decide: "Hey, this is a great album! Let´s get this stuff out without destroying Burtons reputation!".
Underwhelming, in every aspect.

siriustexra Burton was clearly the thing I always loved about Fear Factory and never realized it.
I saw a comment here talking about how it's bad, that person is talking out their arse.

They're probably a person that just liked the chugga chugga part of FF which isn't here so they just can't parse it.

This is like if all my favourite FF tracks like Human Shields and Ascension etc were taken further.

Great album.

about

Ascension Of The Watchers' new album 'APOCRYPHA' explores ambient atmospheres, melodies, and introspective lyrics that shed light on Bell’s visions, as seen in their purest form.

Ascension of the Watchers is the creative, and innovative journey of pioneering vocalist Burton C. Bell - co-founder and vocalist of FEAR FACTORY. The music echoes the sounds of prophetic hallucination, fear and dreams with remorse of things lost and forgotten, but with a hope of redemption and light in the future.
